An external switch allows you to change between Router and AP Modes.The integrated access point complies with IEEE 802.11n (draft 2.0), providing wireless transmission speeds of up to 300Mbps. It supports WEP and WPA/WPA2 wireless encryption. The WRTR-501 uses WMM (QoS) to prioritize the traffic over the network. A WPS button allows for worry-free wireless security configuration.
The router provides VPN pass-through for IPSec, L2TP and PPTP. It can be easily configured via Web-based configuration utility, including a Quick Setup Wizard.
