Alternative I started looking at USB I²C adapter, but they are expensive. There is one project though, which looked very promising, and it didn't require a full-fledged Arduino either: Till Harbaum's I²C-Tiny-USB 3. It uses an ATtiny85 board - as the name suggests, it's tiny, and turned out to be a. Generic driver to support graphical displays. Support for LCDs is implemented in connection type (see below). G: see below-t6963: T6963 based displays in graphics mode. Parallel: Fully supported-serdisp: Meta-driver using the serdisplib library. See their web page for a list of supported displays.Tested-lcdp2usb: Till Harbaum's GLCD2UDB.

It is therefore Designed by Till Harbaum. Part 2 - Uploading the firmware If you are familiar with Atmel programming you probably know what you are doing. The Makefile in lcd2USB/firmware/Makefile assumes, that you are using a simple STK200 compatible printer port adapter. Connect the Designed by Till Harbaum. For the I2C-interface I used an “I2C-Tiny-USB“, developed by Till Harbaum with drivers available for Linux, Windows and MacOS. Foto of the prototype The control software “CyberClockControl” is available for Linux and Windows and possibly for MacOS.
