FALCON and FALCON Express are colour and monochrome frame grabbers with an excellent value for money. For high quality pictures you can connect a SVHS-video-source and 2 CVBS signals. For displaying the pictures are transferred via Burst-DMA transfers into the frame buffer of the VGA-board or for image processing into the PC memory. This transfer happens in video-realtime. The IDS driver supports all operation modes, which allow image processing and displaying in overlay mode. The interpolating scaler (direction X and Y) reduces live pictures down to ICON-size. The interpolation avoids 'steps' at the edges. The scaler can be deactivated if it has negative effects for an application. More than 70,000 sold worldwide.

Altami Studio and Altami VideoKit — the main software products developed by Altami specialists are suitable for controlling many image capture devices (various digital web, video and cameras).
