Anyway, I've had our Netware guru install TCP/IP on the IntraNetware server and I've pinged it to make sure the protocol is active on the server. However, when I try to start the server I get the following: 17:31:42 2: tcptip 17:31:42 3: -c 17:31:42 4: 32M 17:31:42 5: ...

Client 4.9 XP
I've installed Client 4.9 on two nearly identical, new Compaq P4 workstations running WinXP. I want to use the IPX protocol to test some file corruption issues we've been having. When I open the Protocol tab in Client Properties, the two machines have slightly different options. Both machines allow me to select IP or IPX in the dropdown list. However, Machine 1 includes both IP and IPX in the properites box below the dropdown and I can select one or the other. Machine 2 only shows IP in this box. I've tried many variations of installing and re-installing the cl...
New iPrint install on Netware 6.5 Sp4 missing XP drivers
Hi Gang. I've just installed a brand new 6.5 Sp4a server using and overlay cd. I've installed a new broker and manager. Everything looks fine to this point. I'm now looking at the broker and there are no Windows XP drivers in the initial installation. I have banners and drivers for every other OS but not for XP. So far google hasn't turned up anything, nor has searching support.novell. Does anybody have any suggestions? Thanks! John Are you saying there are no drivers in the list??? or that via iManager, you don't have to option...
Can Console One be used with Netware 4.11 using SPX/IPX
Does anyone know if Console One can be used with Netware 4.11 running SPX/IPX??? Thanks, Dave ConsoleOne Admin utility shipped with NetWare5.x and later. It wasn't intended to support NetWare4.x but it does work very well. ConsoleOne does not rely solely on SPX/IPX but on the NCP connection to the server. Just like NWADMIN32.EXE, it works on IP and IPX connection as long as you have a NDS connection to a server. -- Edison Ortiz Novell Product Support Forum SysOp (No Email Support, Thanks !) ...
Adding printer drivers for XP from XP
Hi, I'm having an issue with an HP Laserjet 4M Plus attached to a Jetdirect 170X. Since installing NPDS/IPrint (NW6SP5) I've had nothing but problems trying to get some of the old printers to work as NDPS printers. After creating the NDPS object for the printer, printing wouldn't work all the time. Sometimes it would be fine and other times I would get an error in explorer.exe related to the msvcrt.dll. So, after doing some digging, I've narrowed it down to the HP drivers I added to the broker. There's a TID (I don't have the number handy, sorry) sugg...
